Hey, ComixTribe publisher Tyler James here! Last night, I finally got up the courage to take a crack at carving a turnip in honor of this successful campaign and the Scottish tradition of carving turnips instead of pumpkins. 

Now, I will say, the turnip is a bit trickier to carve.  Scooping out the middle of the turnip requires a little more muscle than the innards of a pumpkin.  But in the turnips favor, it's a bit more forgiving of blotches, scratches and mistakes in the carving process... in fact, those tend to give the tattie-bogle its character and make it all the more creepy.  

So, here's how my "masterpiece" came out:

Not bad, right? Now, the flame does a lot of the heavy lifting, but I was happy with this ugly little guy.

These are available now as an ADD-ON, limited to 20, for just +$25! 

If you need instructions on how to ADD-ON to your pledge without changing your reward, here's the step-by-step:

1: Log in to Kickstarter.
Use the account you backed the project with.

2: Go to the Campaign Page.
Navigate to the live Kickstarter campaign you want to add onto.

3: Click “Manage Your Pledge.”
This is usually near the top of the campaign page.

4: Click “Change Your Pledge.”
This brings up a page showing your current pledge level.

5: Do NOT change your reward tier.
If you’ve locked in an Early Bird or Limited reward, it may no longer be available—changing tiers could cause you to lose it.

6: Click “Continue to Payment” without changing your reward.
This is the key step that keeps your pledge level locked.

7: Now click on “Add-Ons.”
This section becomes available after clicking “Continue to Payment.”

8: Choose the add-ons you want.
Select additional items or bonuses you’d like to include with your pledge.

9: Click “Continue to Payment” again.
This will return you to the checkout screen.

10: Click “Confirm Changes.”
Your pledge will now be updated with the add-ons—but your original pledge level remains intact.

⚠️ One Kickstarter Quirk to Note:

You can’t go directly to the add-ons menu from “Change Your Pledge.” You must first click “Continue to Payment” to make add-ons accessible.
